The cost of a new septic system will depend on the size of the system, plus the cost of the installation. If you’re thinking about getting a new septic system, call Mighty Plumbing & Heating to have a plumbing expert assess your home and give you a price quote.
With proper, annual maintenance from your Mighty Plumbing & Heating plumber, your septic system should last around 15 to 20 years.
Usually when a septic system fails, the drainfield is not functioning correctly which is caused by septic sewage overflow. Signs that your septic system might be failing are slow draining toilets and drains, wet areas on or around the drain field, foul odors, and/or contaminated well water. If you’re experiencing any of the aforementioned, call a Mighty Plumbing & Heating plumber out to inspect your septic tank and properly diagnose the issue.
There isn’t necessarily any one type of system that is better than another, rather, there is a type of system that will be best for your home and needs. If you’re looking to install a new septic system, consult with a Mighty Plumbing & Heating plumbing expert who will assess your property and families needs and give you a recommendation.
Advantages of new septic systems over older septic systems are the use of PVC lining which will greatly increase your septic tank’s lifespan, less risk of system backups (when properly maintained), and in general, they require less maintenance.

We have been using Mighty since July 2022. They put in a furnace, A/C unit and whole house humidifier. We have had different techs out doing inspections and they have all been amazing. Yesterday Danny Betleyoun came out for inspection and found some things. He showed us exactly what he found and explained every thing in detail without being pushy. We have always found the employees as well as the owner Mike to be very professional and up front and honest about our service. They always make us feel like we are valued! Highly recommend Mighty to anyone.
